Deodorant Cream: Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is this an antiperspirant?
No. Our formula is aluminum-free, which means it does not physically block your sweat glands. Sweating is a healthy, natural way for your body to detoxify and regulate temperature. Instead, our cream uses Zinc Oxide and Diatomaceous Earth to neutralize the bacteria that cause odor and absorb excess moisture, keeping you fresh and dry without the chemicals.
2. Will I go through a "detox period" when switching?
If you have been using traditional clinical antiperspirants, your body may take 1 to 2 weeks to adjust. During this time, your pores are finally "unclogging," which can lead to a temporary increase in perspiration or a change in body odor. Stick with it! Once your body rebalances, you’ll find the natural cream is highly effective.
3. Does this contain Baking Soda?
No. Many natural deodorants use Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), which can cause a red, itchy rash for people with sensitive skin. We use Diatomaceous Earth and Zinc Oxide instead, which are much gentler but just as powerful at fighting odor.
4. Will it stain my clothes?
Unlike stick deodorants that leave a waxy buildup, our cream is formulated to absorb into the skin. As long as you massage it in well and wait a few seconds before dressing, it will not leave white marks or yellow stains on your favorite fabrics.
5. My cream feels a bit softer/harder than usual. Is it still okay?
Yes! Because we use natural Coconut Oil and Rice Bran Wax without synthetic stabilizers, the texture can change slightly with the weather. It may be firmer in winter and softer in summer. This does not affect the efficacy. If it melts in extreme heat, just stir it and pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes to reset.
6. How long does one jar last?
Because this is a waterless, concentrated formula, a little goes a long way. If used daily as directed (a pea-sized amount per underarm), one 30g jar typically lasts between 1 to 2 months
